CPC Driver Training Modules

We provide the following six CPC Driver Training modules:

Module One - Control of Vehicle and Eco Driving Techniques

This module includes characteristics of the transmission system, effective use of safety controls in PSVs and LGVs and optimising fuel consumption. See details.

Module Two - Minimising Risks and Managing Emergencies

This module includes two sessions which cover risks of the road and accidents at work and controlling and handling emergencies. See details.

Module Three - Health and Safety of the Professional Driver

This module also includes two sessions. The importance of physical and mental capability of professional drivers and preventing physical risks whilst driving. See details.

Module Four - Role of the Professional Driver

This module looks at the drivers ability to adopt behaviour to help enhance the image of the profession and also understanding the social environment of road transport. See details.

Module Five - The Professional Truck Driver

This module is specific for Truck drivers only. It covers loading the vehicle, preventing criminality and trafficking of illegal immigrants, the regulations governing the carriage of goods, safe loading of vehicles and the economic environment of the carriage. See details.

Module Six - The Professional Bus Driver

This module is specific to Bus Drivers only. It covers understanding ensuring passenger comfort and safety, regulations for the carriage of passengers, preventing criminality and trafficking of illegal immigrants, the economic environment of road haulage and the organisation of the market.
